Cubase 5 and EZ drummer issue new
      #943948 - 28/09/11 09:57 PM
Hey there, i am having an issue with running EZ drummer in cubase5. i have only just started using cubase5 very recently and have found that when running EZdrummer in multitrack mode only 2 midi tracks are opening up for me???? i am pulling my hair out trying to remedy this and i am probably just being really thick. can anybody please help me as i like to have control of all the drum channels. also when i am playing samples of the drum sounds only the two midi channels are playing. ie hi hat and snare, none of the other channels are coming through. many thanks to anyone that can help. i am running cubase on pc.

I assume you mean 'audio outputs', not 'MIDI tracks'?

By default Cubase only enables a stereo pair of outputs for a VST instrument. You have to enable the additional outputs you want to use from the VST Instruments window - it's the tiny icon to the right of the 'e' icon. Take a look at Page 171 in the Cubase 5 Operation Manual.

Apologies if I've misunderstood.

Yep as Elf has said you can add instrument outputs using the [->] button on the instrument rack (F11).
