Well done.. gotta love that hardware..
I bought a few this year(Don't tell the missus)..
top 3 for me

1. Analogue Solutions Telemark (such instant analogue gratification)
2. Nord Modular (still getting to grips with the complexity of this beast)
3. Waldorf Q (fab filters and great step sequencer)

Cool, wow the telemark looks nice, never really liked the matrix idea from the Nord modular,
How do you find it?

6, 60 or 106?

No new synths lately, but I keep finding new ways of using ones I already have. I find effects and simple hardware sequencing to be quite rewarding at the moment, as well as turning off quantize in Logic and just playing.

Yeah, which Juno are we celebrating?

Great to hear it's brought inspiration to you. That's worth it's weight in any synth.

I began my polysynth career with a Juno 6. It did have some neat sounds, though I eventually became jaded with it. The snappy envelopes and the reverse filter modulation were particularly inspiring. You can get a nice clicky Hammond by shutting the attack/decay speed way down and creating a slight resonant filter blip. Open up the speeds with a reverse envelope and there are all manner of twangy filter sweeps for the asking.

Bro-in-law still has an Alpha-Juno about which I'll make no comment until I know it isn't the one you've just acquired!

I'm only just starting to get to grips with it, but what do you mean by "the matrix idea"?..

Well the Nord modular has very few controls on the front of it and I thought you could only program it through a software interface, maybe I'm wrong been awhile since I read up on them.

We're celebrating a 106, I know some people say they don't sound as "fat" or what ever but sounds pretty fat to me plus I really like having some midi control although fairly limited compared to today's standard.
