Anyone know where I can hire a SE Reflexion Filter in London?

I am doing a one off vocal recording tomorrow afternoon/evening in my bedroom and would
like to rent one of these for the session to get a cleaner vocal sound. I have found one
for rent for £20 per day from a company called FX but they are out in North Acton and I
am in Stoke Newington. Does anyone know where I could rent one that is closer to me as I
have a lot of errands to run tomorrow for the session and don't know if I'll have enough
time to make it all the way out there. I don't mind if it's the Project Studio or the Pro
model, any info would be appreciated! Many thanks.. ~H

I hope you get one sorted but if you cant.....
You can setup a couple of mic
stands in a "T" shape -- boom horizotal-- And set them up in a "V" shape looking from
the top but at about 140 to 150 degrees So an obtuse angle. Then put a standard
bedroom Quilt over the top of these. Place this behind the vocal mic so the singers
singing into the "V" and the mic is between him and this V quilt.
O - Singer 0 - Mic V -
Makeshift refection filter but at --140 to 150 degrees--
And you have
yourself a makeshift reflection filter that works a treat. If the mic stands dont
extend up high enough you may need to prop something under the mic stands to get the
height required.

Hi Inderface,
Thanks for the tip, much appreciated - that might have to do if I
don't hear from anyone else. I was already thinking of placing a quilt behind the vocalist
as I've read a few posts online that suggest this in addition to a reflexion filter (due
to the fact that many vocal recordings are done with a cardioid mic and reflections from
behind the source is still a problem). A reflexion filter would still be preferable though
as my vocalist is a lot more professional than I am and I'm keen to offer the highest
standard I can but I'll certainly be borrowing my flatmates quilt as well and using this
solution if I can't find a filter!

You can always stick something along the same lines behind him too... Ive read this
tip before in many forums so it seems the norm if all else fails....
