Long time ago, there was a game for the Amiga called Shadow of the Beast 2. One of the things it is most known for is its game over sequence (watch it on YouTube). I know a lot of the synth sounds from the game are sampled from an M1 but I'd like to know where the pad sound comes from, if anyone knows.

I know its a strange question but there we go!

I would guess it is the M1. Martin Walker on here may know.

This demo has a similar vibe under the "tinkling" patch.

Actually that didn't scream Korg M1 to me, but then there are many hundreds of pad sounds available for it

Probably more likely a fairly low quality 8-bit sample and played out with an Amiga tracker program, or something.
