Speaking of originality, one of the most original musical quartets ever (tied with the Beatles ) has just reformed. Apparently they started out thinking "why don't we try to *scare* people with our music". When I first heard them I thought "you can't do *that* it's wrong! (ok I was only 11 but I'd already been exposed to the Jungle Book soundtrack, Revolver, jazz and Motörhead, and I'd never felt like any of it was "wrong", even Yellow Submarine).

Anyway the original four are back together for an album and tour, and I'm cock a hoop! Anyone wanting a taster should be at the Cluny, Byker, on the 17 th of December. See how I slipped an advert in at the end?
