hello friends, I´ve got a big problem with installing my logic pro 8 again, cause of
updating my mac-system to 10.5.8. I don´t have my logic express 7 anymore (since 4
years), to install my pro 8 upgrade new. So I have the dongle not anymore and didn´t
think about writing the original serial number of the express. What can I do, can somebody
help me with this problem??

You don't need an old version installed, you just need proof of ownership, which for Logic
Express probably means your serial number.
I never get why people don't make
records of things like serial numbers - they are *important*, and basically are the full
value of your software license. If you have a version that required a dongle, then you
still need that dongle to upgrade.
If you have proof of purchase, then contact
Apple who might be able to help you.
