I think I was a red yield.
I used to play on PS3 home until the poker host area disappeared from it.
The tables had 8 players and I never failed to come top 3 but I rarely won.

Lol at Red Yield.

I all but gave up music about 12-18 months ago and took up Poker as a genuine attempt at work. However, I found out that I was terrible - my temperament left a lot to be desired, and I was trying to 'force' being good at it. I couldn't take the down swings and couldn't play the long game required. I expected reward for hard work, even though I knew Poker doesn't work like that. I had ability, but that's not enough.

Like a lot of things, I have a lot of knowledge but lack the application :-) Though I haven't played for about 3 months now, I still enjoy it and ran a regular home game last year.

I played at Pokerstars mainly at the cash tables.

BTW - the one thing that Poker gave me was my love for music again so I'm very happy that I discovered it!

Dunno about poker. Anyone fancy a quick game of Mornington Crescent?

I used to a lot. Never on line proper: Lahndahn games only. Reformed now, just 10 pounds buy in, competition rules once a month or so.

Usually fleece my colleagues at least once in an evening.

I strongly prefer limit Texas hold 'em. It is in my opinion the most technical form of hold 'em.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes I was meaning Texas Hold'em. I played cash online low stakes for a while, didn't do well. Now I'm playing 9 handed SnG's and breaking even at low stakes. I'm totally fasinated by the game. I've read several books including Dan Harrington's. I'm readin Moshman's Sit n Go Strategy now, great book.

I prefer SnG at the moment as it's cheap to play, there's always some poor players at the table, and you have to constantly adjust for blinds and stack size. Cash seems quite boring now.

If anyone wants to exchange HH's just pm some.

I'm afraid that by asking you have forfeited your turn under the Morton's Fork ruling. Which allows me to:

Hah! Which lets me invoke Morton's 2nd parallel (and also means that rule 7 is re-instated).

So...

Elephant and Castle.
