Edirol Fa-66 versus Motu 828mkll worth swap? new

I've been thinking about buying a Motu828 mkll to replace my old trusty Edirol FA-66 just because I think the Motu may have better AD/DA converters and consequently will improve my recordings.Am I gonna waste my time and money?Thanks

It does from the testing we could do as the converters on the MOTU's are very nice and proved themselfs up in the loopback recording testing data we've had. Wheather or not this will translate well to your enviroment is another question (have you treated the recording area etc...) but for a well thought out recording area I suspect you should give it a go if you can.
