EZ Drummer and Fruity Loops
      #968081 - 03/02/12 01:17 PM
So, I recently embarked on the hellish endeavor of programming our drum tracks rather than the good old fashioned way of just recording the kit. I want to give this a shot as I believe it will greatly improve our sound on the demo. I have read several posts and watched numerous tutorial vids in this regard, all of which discuss various methods of programming the drums using EZ Drummer, FL Studio & GP5. With that said they all cover the how to program your drums either by tabbing em out in GP5, exporting the midi file and running that on a channel in your DAW, be it FL Studio, Cubase whatever or creating them in the Piano Roll on FL Studio. What I am trying to find out is - can one use EZ Drummer in multitrack (like through ezdrummer mixer) mode in FL studio? i.e have a seperate track for each drum sound like kick, snare etc... and just program using step sequencer instead of the whole piano role thing? Apologies if this seems like a noob question - but if anyone can shed some light on this for me it'd be great... Thanks
