exporting logic tracks new

is it possible to export logic tracks to my analogue mixing desk? if so how?

What do you mean by "export"? Do you mean you want Logic tracks coming up on your mixer channels?

In which case, yes you can, you just need an audio interface with as many outputs as your desk has inputs. So if you want for example 16 channels out of Logic, you'll need an audio interface that has 16 outputs, take those 16 outputs into your analog desk, then in Logic you just route each track to each output.

You'll need to work out your budget and feature requirements - there are too many audio interfaces to list.

And it's worth asking what mixer do you intend to mix on?

Because unless its pretty good, there will be little point and you might be worth buying an integrated mixer/interface or perhaps a controller.

hi,
i have a Mackie SR24/4
it might be old now, but i found it great for arranging songs.
i'd have everything on an 8 bar loop and then you could try out all sorts of combinations!
