How to treat my room.
      #973377 - 01/03/12 02:47 PM
So basically here is the layout of my bedroom/production environment right about now.

(alcoves to the side of chimney breast are a foot deep.)

Is the current listening position in the wrong place? This the black outlined rectangle on the right side of the image.

I want to know where would be best to place acoustic treatment tiles to help tame the low and high end. Obviously without building custom bass traps, I'll never get the room as flat as ideally possible in the low end, but taming it would be a start.

Also, would these be up to the job??

As far as symmetry goes it might be best, but I have a feeling you are going to be in the middle of the room. The middle of the room is one of the worst place to sit (besides corners).
