Hi everyone I've just noticed I have lost the little screw that anchors the
little cover plate on the GK3 hex pickup where the cable enters the pickup I don't suppose anyone knows what the spec of the screw is so I can order a replacement
and a few spares? Thanks Steve

Steve, dunno about that but if you get caught short for a gig let me know. There's a
GR33/GK3 of mine round Max's so you could nick the GK ...

I could remove mine from my GK2A (not sure of its the same size though as the 3),
and take a picture of it next to an engineers rule to give you the size. But I do not have
a thread gauge at home to determine the thread Why not try containg Roland UK,
I have always found them helpful in the past, they have even sent me manuals for products
I have bought second hand in the past. http://www.roland.co.uk/articles/default.aspx?c=34

Dave: I have a Brian Moore I can also use so I'm fine for a spare so I'll be ok... but
the offer is much appreciated Greg: Doh! What a sensible idea! I've
registered and put in a query. Steve

Yes, I've found Roland UK tech support to be very helpful in the past. And I've been able
to actually get through to them on the phone by calling Roland and being very nice to the
person who answers. Andy

Roland have just got back to me. Its an M2x3. These are available on ebay at 50 for £4,
or you can order them through Roland if you really want to be sure you are not going to
invalidate your warranty. If you really feel lucky, M2x3 screws are commonly
used to screw together laptops, but for the money I'd prefer to see the 2x3 label on a
packet and not get a 2x3.5 or a 2x4 by accident and break the pickup Mine is
out of warranty so it's ebay for me Thanks again guys Steve

Well I guess I meant try and find a hardware shop /
ironmonger (if there are still any of these left anywhere that is)
If you know
of an engineering supplier on an industrial estate somewhere they normally carry a
selection of screws and if you can buy one or two should set you back pence. But I do not
know Oxford really only found that other site on the web as a suggestion.
