Axon AX50 & Lion new

Seems like the Axon USB Editor is no go in Lion anyone know anything about this?

Hi Dag

Been some posting about this on midi guitar and axon forum - I think someone managed to fudge it into working but considering the editor was never exactly stable on OS X then it's just another program that will be moved into my Windows XP virtual machine that I run in Virtual Box https://www.virtualbox.org/

While real-time audio is a bit glitchy on my old mac mini, I find that Sounddiver runs quite happily, as did the Axon editor the last time I checked.

I have VM ware Fusion with W7 set up I have not tried Virtual Box whats it like? could you get the Axon to talk to Logic in the main OS, if it was connecting to the Virtual OS for the editor?

Not tried VMware myself but a midi port is just a USB device so it should work

Doesn't the AX50 appear as multiple class compliant midi devices with one dedicated to editing? If so, just let the VM connect to the editor device...

I have tried everything but cannot get this to work in VM ware on W7 or XP its either back to snow leopard or bye-bye Axon

Its definitly a USB recognition issue in VM ware if anyone has any ideas
