Logic regular or auto save?
      #986796 - 10/05/12 08:54 PM
Just lately when I open logic it generously offers to allow me to open the project in regular mode or with auto saved data.

I have tried both and there doesn't seem to be any difference.

How can I stop it asking me this every time?

In Cubase, the option to open the auto-saved backup only comes up if I didn't save after the auto save had taken place. Does the option still come up if you save just before exiting the project?

I also have been getting this after a logic crash since the latest version. So I open the auto-saved version to recover. However, after saving the project, closing and opening again, it still keeps asking me the option of the auto-saved or regular. There is no backup file that I can find to delete. The only way I've worked around this is to save the file to another slightly different name and delete the original.

Richie, yes it does.

Pinestreet, thanks I'll try that.

Hi there!

To get rid of this message, be sure that your session is closed at first.

Right-click on the Logic session file (ending with .logic) and choose “Show Package Contents” in the contextual menu.
Once inside the bundle, you will see a file named “documentData_lowmem”.
Simply delete it, then close the Finder window.

Open your session once again, and that annoying message will be gone
