Exciting news everyone! BPM is proud to announce that we will be part of the fantastic Liverpool Sound City. This established music conference and city wide festival is expanding in 2012 with an Expo at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of May and we’ll be hosting the DJ HUB. The HUB will contain some of the biggest manufacturers of DJ and production equipment, including American DJ, Denon, Pioneer, Traktor and Vestax.

Sound City itself is a 3 day international music, media and technology conference, live arts and music festival and Expo. The festival is focused on bringing the best new music, film, art and more from all over the world to Liverpool while the primary convention aim is to bring together a vast array of creative and digital industries, business professionals, artists, music, film and art fans to enjoy today’s best new music and chart the future course of the music, digital and creative industries.

The Sound City Expo is where we come in. BPM will be running the HUB which is the DJ portion of the Expo, and will essentially be a ‘warm up’ until the real thing in October, a ‘mini BPM’. It will include exhibitors who will be at the show, exciting demos and helpful representatives on hand to deal with any queries and get you ready for the big event! There will also be two other HUBS (music and digital) as well as a main stage programme of demos.

Sound City Expo focuses on the current and future intersection of music, business and technology - giving a real insight into what is possible!
