it needs to be a variable pedal like this as opposed to switch type a la Xotic version.

Fewer than there should be that I know of. Some of the Barge Concepts stuff can be used with an expression pedal. Alternatively, it should be quite a trivial DIY job...

bought the morley fx blender online without trying it first. initially very disappointed

emailed morley's tech help who responded straight away with some suggestions on internal tweaks which have made a huge difference - it's refreshing to have such quick and accurate assistance well done Scott at Morley

the pedal now works a treat, controlling how much of the signal from my effects gets blended with the main signal. I've only tried it on delay so far which now allows much more effect for solos than I have used in the past but still have a bit for chords etc all controlled by a foot rocker pedal.
