I don't mean 3D per se, although there are a couple of 3D browsers on the way but what I am referring to is the tabs in Firefox. Is there a si8milar facility in any browser where the tabs have a dropdown so I can assign my tabs to tops, like a filing cabinet.

Using Firefox I often drag favourite sites to the bit below the address bar and they appear as a list horizontally, it would be great though if I could add tabs that also had a drop-down so for example I could name a tab 'Music' and add links to all the music sites I use

Does such a facility exist in any browser, I know Book Marks lets me arrange things in folders but opening bookmarks opens a completely new page.

ANd while on the subject in case there are any browser gurus out there, any browsers with a built in calendar/task manager, albeit I know there would have to be a login facility added but at least it would be slicker than hotmail and other online docs facilities

I think I have answered my own question - the Bookmarks Menu can be added as a toolbar````` and new folders created - yippeee

I hope you realise this now makes you the Firefox expert

I've not finished yet there's more - you can make a link to folders on the hard drive instead of fossicking about with My Computer, I just put the path in to My Docs...

I have a custom HTML page as my home page, which I put in dropbox. It then means I have the same start page for every machine I have (i.e about 7).

I've got custom google search boxes etc setup in it too - very handy.

However, I still use the 'add 10 links to a folder in the bookmark bar' then control click/right click to open them all at the same time in separate tabs.

Hmmmm, just about to turn my world upside down.

So if I get it right you create an html page, and when you open the browser, your 'home' page points straight to that file in dropbox?

Doesn't that mean you have to log on to dropbox each time you fire up the browser?

You can't have spaces in a URL, so conventionally when software converts a name that contains spaces (such as My Documents) to a URL it replaces the space with a string that represents the ASCII value of the space character in HTML-ese, i.e. %20.

Best thing about it is, with Portable Firefoz, I can carry it about on a USB wazzock. Now I need to sort out how to include some kind of address/contacts and todo sort of thing, The Universal Browser, sort of half email contacts/half browser. Opera seems to have some sort of ability with regards to that, with it having the Opera eMail Client built in
