Your Dad is a great player! I love the harmonies and feel of the prelude. However, I feel
it is only the start of the track: at the moment it is very much an arpeggiated harmony,
without much of a melody. I would love to hear a solo melody line over it, for example
with oboe or violin, or an overdub on the piano. This would make the track sing.
In the waltz, which I really love, the accompaniment is much simpler and this makes room
for a nice melody in the right hand. That is fantastic, I can imagine a big orchestra
arrangement in my head. At some point in the middle, I feel your dad is getting a bit
carried away with technique. He is doing some great runs that I can only dream of playing,
but for me they don't add much to the emotion of the track. At the start it sounds so nice
and romantic, I would stick with that.
In all cases, great music!
