Reverb on Fleet Foxes' Helplessness Blues new
      #991133 - 03/06/12 05:09 PM
Hi everyone!

I'm amazed by the reverb on Helplessness Blues, by Fleet Foxes. I'd like to recreate this kind of reverb for my band's album, but I don't know how to do it. I guess it might be a rack unit, rather than a plug-in,but... could someone tell me some tricks to get something similar to this?

Thanks is advance. Regards from Madrid,

Carloignacio

You're in luck; SOS featured this album last year...

A "good old noisy" EMT plate was apparently the favourite.

(If you use a convolution reverb like Altiverb you should be able to dig out impulse response files for stuff like that.)

I'd have said EMT plate. And a rather annoying tape warble on the guitar (I had a Walkman that did that when it got old).

Thanks! I'll try with Altiverb. Hope I can get something like that. Regards
