Atari mono monitor

Just in case it is of any use to anyone. I have an Atari mono monitor that I used to use
with my AtariST sitting in a cupboard. As far as I know it still works fine (should be
able to dig out an ST from a cupboard to confirm).
Is this of any interest to
anyone? I can't see me ever using again so am happy to donate it to a good home. I live in
Northampton if someone would like to collect or arrange pickup.
Many thanks

Hi Karl,
thanks for the offer to all the Atarians here. However, I think it may be
of limited appeal to the folks simply because using a nice big VGA monitor with an adaptor
lead is far easier on the eyes and brain than the diddy Atari one. I couldn't even READ
half the stuff on Logic for the Atari until I got a bigger monitor......
It
could be that Ebay might be your best bet, unless you strike lucky and are contacted by an
Atari purist....
Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks for the suggestions. Thought I'd ask on here first before Ebay or freecycle (think
there is a local retro/vintage computer collector nearby). Seems a shame to take it to the
rubbish tip/recycling centre, but desperate for a clear out here!

I found a couple of these in my attic recently, both with dead line output transformers -
an apparently unobtainable spare part, even from the Atari specialists in Dulwich.
I progressed to a standard monitor with adapter cable. Fine, except that I had to
turn it off and perform the final mixdown blind due to the buzz it put into the system.
Also remember "sending off" to somewhere in Southampton for a PC power supply and
hot-wiring it to the Atari ST when the somewhat under-specced internal one gave up
(again).
I occasionally run across a surviving, working ST/Logic system with
the mono monitor. So they can't ALL have blown up :-)
