Mutron III Power Supply new
      #993503 - 19/06/12 02:12 AM
Are there any of these available for use in UK:

Mutron-PS1A Power Supply

It's used to power the old Mutron III

Mutron III

The thing is, does the Mutron work only on 120 volts internally? In that case it works only on U.S. voltage mains right.

Would UK voltage tolerate this power supply?

Thanks

Looks like a standard 18V DC supply to me. Does the pedal use 2 9V batteries by any chance?

I wouldn't buy an American supply like the one you link to but I would look for an 18V supply from a European source.

James.

Yes it uses the 2 nine volt batteries James.
Is there anything I need to look out for, in terms of polarity etc James? I'm very basic with electronics.

Thanks

If it takes two 9V batteries, perhaps the 1Spot plug might be suitable? It has adaptors (if you get the right kit) for two 9Vs. I've still yet to try out my one with my old Roland Pedal which also requires two 9Vs, but it has worked fine with my other pedals using the usual connector.

Just found this:

Voodoo Lab Power Pedal

It has the option of 9V 12V and 18Volts. I just have to check if the pedal is 100mA and Presto!

Thanks for help.
