5.1 Level Calibration

Hello Everyone,

I've recently dove into the world of 5.1 and so far I'm doing pretty well. I've started my first film project and there's 1 thing I'm not sure about. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

My room is too quite (sound proof) to calibrate my system at 85 dB SPL. It's painfully loud. So naturally I'd like to calibrate at a lower level. Say 79 dB SPL (closer to TV standard).

My question is : How do I compensate for this when handing my work (sound design / music mix) over to the dub mixer who's working on an 85 db SPL calibrated system?
- Turn the output on my 'Print' track up by 6 dB when printing?
or
- Don't compensate and the mixer will simply turn it up in his session??

I just don't want to make a large mistake this early in the process, then hand my project over to a professional. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
