PCMCIA Memory cards available for NordLead 2 and Korg Z1? new
      #806478 - 24/01/10 09:27 PM
Can anyone advise on a currently available PCMCIA RAM card for the Nord Lead 2. I've been looking for years since I bought the damn thing and do not know what to buy. Repeated emails to Clavia are simply ignored (their user support is non-existent from my experience).

Likewise, anyone know what PCMCIA card will work with the Korg Z1?

I know they mention types in the manual but these are not to be found - I need to find a PCMCIA card for each that's available today (even if over specified).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin.

Clavia does no longer offer PCMCIA cards but you can still get the same cards that we used to distribute from Memorix Elektronik.

My work around is to programme the sound and then when I'm happy with it, store to an internal memory and then dump it individually by sysex to the start of the track in the sequencer, that way I get total recall of the sound for that song.

Excellent Richie - that's a great idea, would have never thought of that. I'll definitely put that into practice - thank you.

Actually - the link you pointed to also provides six different free libraries and lots of other useful downloads, so thanks for that - very useful (and I should have checked clavia.com before moaning at Clavia by email of course!).

Much appreciated.
Kevin.
