ok... i got all the m1 stuff but i cant get it to work

hey there after some great help here i got some sounds and a sysex prog called snoooze...it all looks like its working but every time i send the sysex file to my m1 all but 10 or so of the sounds are corrupt and when i load up the corrupt sound it puts my m1 in a very funny mood and i have to switch it off and on to get the sounds that have worked to make any sound at all......am i doing something wrong ..are there settings i need to change because its an old synth

any help

Do you mean Snoize's Sysex Librarian?

Either your files are corrupt, you are sending the data too fast, of your MIDI interface can't handle the data transmission.

The first thing to try is slowing the data sending down - iirc the Snoize utility has an option to do this. Try with various files, and try with different interfaces.

Also, try resetting the M1 first, as sometimes keyboard's can get flaky, especially when it's had corrupted data sent to it - resetting can sometimes sort this out, and this is certainly true of the Wavestation (which shares a lot in common with the M1).

hey

sorry it is snoize i am using and slowing it down worked a treat .i reset the keyboard and sent the files through and bingo
