Hi

I wonder if somebody might be able to help me out. I have a MCV linked up to a Roland SH09 and its triggering it OK. The synth is in tune but I can't seem to get it to play in tune over more than about 3 notes using the little MCV. There are 2 controls tune and trim and I'm note sure of how to use the trim or what it does exactly it does! I haven't got the manual and online search doesn't bring one up either. i'm a complete newbie so I'm not if I need to tune then trim or tweak each one a little at a time

Any help grateful appreciated!

One control will simply alter the tuning offset, the other will alter the span between notes - which is the control you need. My guess is that 'Trim' will be the span control.

Yep.

See: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1997_articles/jan97/philipreesmcv.html

Basically you want to use the trim to get the octaves all in tune.
