vermona Perfourmer 2

Re: Paul Nagle's review of the Perfourmer 2, I just wanted to add

- the Sequential Circuits Six-trak offered 6-voice multitimbral analogue sequencing
- the Elektron SID-Station offers 3-voice multitimbral sequencing with circular inter-voice oscillator sync (and ring mod)

That is all

I assume the comment was aimed at the "Buy new" market, they don't make Sequential Circuits Six-traks anymore lol and Elektron don't make SID stations anymore Since 6581 chips were becoming hard to find.
If buying new the review was accurate when he quoted "There is no analogue I can think of that can take on so many different roles so easily"

and yet it misses one trick which would extend its role considerably:

It is impossible to route all oscillators to one VCF, one VCA, one output for a four oscillator mono synth controlled by a single filter/amp/ADSR. This would be much quicker to set up traditional mono sounds (which do not require a separate filter/amp/adsr/lfo for each oscillator). I think this is a missed opportunity.
