To celebrate this milestone, and as a thank you for your support, we're offering you, our SOS readers and fans, the chance to win one of 10 free eSubs!

But we don't just want this to be any ordinary 'retweet' competition. Instead, we want you to get creative! This is a real opportunity for you to show off your skills.

Here's how it will work...

We're giving you 10 days to write and record an original music track called "Sound On Sound". Upload your finished track to your SoundCloud account, and tweet @sospublications with the link to your track.

After the 10 days has passed, we'll listen to all the entries and pick our favourite 10. The lucky winners will each receive a complimentary 3-month eSub, which unlocks ALL premium content on the SOS web site.

Sound exciting? Good! We just need to cover some ground rules before you can get started!

Record or produce either a song or instrumental track of your choosing, with the title "Sound On Sound.
All tracks should be original - we can't stress this enough. We really want you to showcase your creativity, so no existing music (e.g. for remixing) should be used. No samples either, please, unless you hold the copyright (or a licence).
You can use whichever instruments and style of music you wish. Feel free to go funky, dare to do dubstep, or whatever else floats your boat!
If you want to write lyrics and record a vocal part, go for it - but please make sure the song is 'decent', so no bad language allowed.
Tracks should be no shorter than 1:30 minutes, and no longer than 3:30 minutes.
If you don't already have a SoundCloud account, you can get one by signing up here: http://soundcloud.com/signup (it's free). We work in partnership with them to deliver our audio content, so they are a trusted provider.
Contest ends Monday 11th June 2012 - please make sure you have tweeted your entry to @sospublications by 11:59pm BST.
One entry per person.
Only entries that meet these conditions will be considered for the contest.
Winners will be selected by Friday 15th June 2012 and notified by direct message (DM) on Twitter.
The prize for this contest is 10 3-month eSubs, awarded to 10 individuals. Existing e-subscribers selected as winners will have the 3-month eSub prize applied as a complimentary extension on their existing subscription.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable.
