First off, not sure if this is the right place to put it.. but I guess
it relates to music production techniques, so...
just wanted to let you know that after doing some pretty basic Reason tutorials, I wanted
to share some things I've learned over the last couple of years, regarding writing a
filmscore (or just good ways to use symphonic instruments, which could apply to any genre
- which is why I think it does fit here as well) using Propellerheads Reason. There is so
much potential in even the standard orchestra refill, if you know how to use it. Which is
why I want to get some techniques out there with this new series.
Just to get
an idea of how these tips can help your tracks, have a listen to a recent theme I did
entirely within Reason 6, at my soundcloud:http://soundcloud.com/hennoxlane/facing-the-end
out, and please leave some notes on how I can improve the series; if there's anything you
want to know about, let me know in the comments!
