players in the music tech selling business? new
      #20112 - 23/09/04 11:51 AM

Been away for a while...the new forums are tiny!

Apart from the obvious turnkey and DV, who are the big sellers around? either on-line or shops, just interested to see if there are bargains I am missing out on - specifically looking for a KS4 synth.

Any suggestions great,

Steve

Try looking at http://www.geocities.com/roland_rock/links.htm

I've got a list of web sites for UK music gear shops there.

Dave.

You can get real bargains on Ebay. I got a brand new unopened Emulator X package for about £140 (£205 at DV) - someone seemed to have a source in Creative and was selling a few of them.
There's a KS4 here: The last one on Ebay sold for £325. 'Buy it now' price on this one is £449, and the bidding has got to £295 with 1 day to go.

It takes a bit of faffing to get set up on Ebay, but once you're running with Ebay and a Paypal account, it's really easy to buy and sell.
