Motu 828mk3 set up

hi, just wondering if there are any 2nd hand motu owners out there who know if it is possible to download the entire driver set for free? I’ve been told it is but the audio desk asked for a disc serial number... been using it through live but heard the software/drivers for it are good...

The drivers and Audiodesk are different things - you don't need Audiodesk to use the interface, but you do need the drivers.

you can download the drivers.. goto MOTU website, click downloads. You have to login to get them. If you don't already have an account, just register to create an account.

Not sure about Audiodesk, I've never used it. You don't need Audiodesk to use the Audio Interface/drivers. The drivers are all you need. Audiodesk is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), you don't have to use it, you can use any DAW software.
