I've got my iPad now about half a year and I never imagined I would enjoy so much fiddling
with music apps! Using Garageband to capture ideas and apps like the Fairlight app, DM1,
Animoog, Nlog PRO, Amplitube, Voice Synth, iMS-20, iElectribe, Dxi and iKaossilator all
are fun to play sitting on the couch as well as serious midi instruments while connected
to my midi rig! Besides having fun, it is also really nice that even the most expensive
apps cost little enough to be an impulse buy, That never happened to me with "real"
musical instruments :-)
Waldorf announced an iPad synth this year. If it is
anything close to my Blofeld, I can only say: "I want it!". Peter Vogel announced a
functionally updated Fairlight app later this year: I hope they added page 6 (wave form
drawing)!

I'm curious how many of you also have so much fun with the
iPad music apps as I've got...
