London Modular Meet new
      #821939 - 27/03/10 02:20 PM

Just a heads up for those that don't know. There's a London modular synthesizers meet-up planned for this April 24th by some members of the muffwiggler forum (modular synth forum).

All are welcome - you'll need to make email contact with the organisers first though so they can get an idea of numbers. See here for further details.

I unfortunately can't make it as I'm away but I hope to attend future events.

If you're into synths, it looks like it should be a great day.

Mike

Sounds interesting and reasonably accessible, but I've not really done anything with modular synths so I suspect I'd be rather a fish out of water.

I'm still kinda new to modular synths, I've had one for just over a year. What I've got is fairly bread and butter in terms of the modules I have and I can't afford to expand at the moment.

I've never met any other modular synth users so I'm pretty gutted that I can't make it

I think if you're interested and can tell an envelope generator from an LFO and enjoy electronic sounds, It would be a great day out. I'd imagine that there'd be some DIY stuff there too....

Hi

I'm organizing this event...it's just a chance for those with modular synths (real ones with patch cords!) to get together and exchange ideas and drool over kit.

You're also welcome if you just have an interest in modular synthesis and want to find out more, I'm hoping some manufacturers will be there along with one of the only distributors of Euro modules in the UK.

If you want to come along with a system please contact me, I need to get a rough tally so I can work out tables and power points. There will be a few active monitors and small Tapco mixers but it would be better if you could bring your own along.

Should be an interesting day!

Mark

Hi Mark,

Hope you didn't mind me posting this here

I really want the event to be successful so that there'll be future London modular meets that I can attend
