Korg Kaossilator Pro as MIDI Controller for Ableton 8

Question: There is a Korg Kaossilator Pro with MIDI out connected to PreSonus Audiobox USB. USB out from the audiobox into PC that has Ableton Live 8 installed. Please describe for someone completely new to using a MIDI controller and relatively new to home recording how to make the Kaossilator create notes on an Ableton MIDI track.
