Footswitch start/stop cd/mp3 player?

Hi. Does anyone know if there are any CD / MP3 players that I can start/stop with a footswitch? I need it for playing backing tracks and would like something sturdy/rackmountable for gigging.

I've had to mod normal CD players before now to make them controllable by a contact closure for radio station emergency "tape" purposes. If you're handy with a soldering iron, tack a couple of wires across the play or pause (depending on what you need it to do) button contacts and bring them out to a jack / din socket on the back panel.

Check out the Tascam 1U models. Also Denon (I think c615 not at home at present) can be wired that way too.

piece of cake on a full sizes one but not something i would do to a little protable one.
one of mine didnt have autopause between rtacks so i soldered a piece of screened cable to the pads on the front panel pause switch and then stuck a jack socket in the back of the player for attaching a bog standard momentary fott switch. works like a charm.
