Logic 8 - unexplained window

Hey all, I've been working on Logic 8 Studio, and I must've pressed an unusual
key combination by accident, and brought up this:  What on earth is it, and how do I get rid of
it? It's stopping shortcuts from working; I had a dig around in the menus but without any
reference to what it is, I couldn't find anything! cheers

Press the caps-lock.

Just press the caps lock key to get rid of it. It's so you can input stuff to the
sequencer or audition sounds when there is no midi keyboard connected. All the

there's an option in the preferences to disable it if you find it useless or annoying. (like I do  )

It's only an "unexplained" window if you haven't looked in the manual...

I'm sure they had an Unexplained Window on Playschool - right between the square window
and the round window...
No one really explained why...
