ESP SC-207 pickup placement

I'm looking at buying an ESP SC-207 but I'm a little confused about the pickup placement.



Its got a bridge and a mid pickup.

Will this make a massive difference?

Massive... no

And a lot depends on how the pick-ups are voiced anyway.

Best advice... go try it and listen to how different the different pick-up selections actually sound in your hands.
