I've a Taylor big baby, which started to feed back quite badly yesterday when I plugged it
in to my mBox to record. I figured I needed to get the battery changed, but I took it in
to my guitar shop to have a technician look at it anyway incase it was a problem with my
jack.
The technician looked at it, and we agreed just to replace the battery
as everything looked fine. I changed my strings and plugged it in to my amp and it sounded
fine. Now I'm trying to record with it, and it's far too bassy. It sounds completely
different to my previous recordings. I can put an EQ on the channel to raise the high
frequency, but it just increases the background noise while it does so.
I
don't know if I'm just being really dim as I've been editing for weeks and can't see the
woods from the trees, but here's an example of what I mean:
http://www.mediafire.com/?cq30c7wz466rp3nI've a feeling
the mic may have been moved or something, but the levels and everything are the same, but
even when I adjust them, the sound is still very muffled and has too little treble. The
input is totally different now?
