however back to the point in hand. i am looking to upgrade my current monitors, krk rokit 6's, they have served their purpose but i am certain the time has come to move on. I am a bedroom producer making mostly ragga jungle, amongst other things. my budget is about a £1000. I have been impressed with a lot of the user reviews of the ae22's and K&H o 120's but i have also been offered some atc scm16a at a very reasonable price, though still out of my price range i was wondering if it was worth continuing to squander and save my pennies to make that extra investment?????
would the ae22's lack of lowend be problematic for the type of music i make? on the other hand the atc 16's also have their flaws:

I'm not sure I could mix on these day to day without doing a small shelf boost above 7k or so. A great monitor with one bizarre flaw....

All the reviews of the K&H 120's seem very promising, and with a lower bass extension than either of the other two sets of monitors they are seeming more and more tempting. however they do have a ported design and ultimately I'm looking for my mixes to translate.
I intend to hear all before i make any purchase and i am in no rush by any means but would love to hear some peoples opinions of those that use them regularly. I am also open to suggestions.
cheers in advance
