Great - you have narrowed down your choices to 3 manufacturers products (& 4 different
models) It shouldn't be hard to find a music store where you can audition these side by
side. Use reference quality music that you are familiar with (consulting SOS Sept 2003
pg. 76 can help) & choose the monitors that sound like they would help you achieve the
best mixes. You might also compare these monitors to a respected higher end reference to
see which one of your candidates is the closest to what can reasonably be expected from a
quality nearfield monitor. Right now Event Super Percision 8 Actives (SOS April 2004
Electric Musician May 2004) seem like a good choice for this as you will already be at a
store carrying Events line.
