Hi Nick, cheers for your feedback.

I'm just wondering bout two things in your reply,

1 - where did your DAC fit in all this?
2 - it seems as though the mixer you speak of only allowed for 2 channels back in from the DAW via Firewire, is that correct? Where as I m looking at the option of actually having a desk capable of say 6, 8 or even 10 "digital" ins via Firewire too.
