Am going to use an existing motion detector (like used in a house burgler alarm) with the eo-body, which turns sensor signals into midi signals.

just need to be sure that I can get the right playback mode from the sampler.
I am hoping aswell that maybe a constant signal input from a motion detector can be interpreted as a hold note on and that when the movemen stops, only then is a midi note off transmitted....?!

Cant use a PC because i need multiple sensor inputs into the eo-body, which will trigger samples on seperate midi channels, BUT will output the audio to seperate audio outputs so it can be heard on seperate speakers around the house exhibition. So its the 16 outs from the sampler that are really useful. Low cost is a big factor and a £400 S6000 compared to a powerful enough PC with a soundcard that has 16 outs is the ding dong.

am very grateful for the interest and fresh ideas.... I think there are several untried and untested ways to do this its just finding the right one and i feel I am getting warm wih the eo-body.
