But he's talking about the serial connection between the PC and the midisport which has to cope with 8 midi ports. So I think it runs at 115200, but now I've said it I'm not sure where I got that from! I don't see anywhere in the setup screens to change it.

Tim: are you running rs232 or 422 (I think 422 will go much further at speed than rs232).

JimiQ: does the spec really say it'll go 15m at any data rate? I didn't think the old do had it in it
