Hey all, am new on here, but been lurking for the last few months picking up all kind of usefull info, so cheers for that

basically ive had a small unit in manchester for a few years and we are now upgrading to a bigger studio about 21ft by 10ft so we got room to construct a small liveroom for drum kits and whatever else we can squeeze in. Now we need to construct a soundproof partition wall about half way down the room to split it into live room and control room. any thoughts on the best way to do this?? at the moment all the walls are soundproofed and the floor is a nice laminate wooden floor, the ceiling has had a false roof fitted as the room is 13ft high but the false roof brings it to about 8ft. we need to build a door and window into this partition and we are trying to work out the best materials etc to use, we are on a limited budget so cost saving advice appreciated as well
