yeah I totally agree with the fact that USB 1.0 would not be able to handle 8 tracks but what about 2.0?

And with the firewire interface could I just have the two main outs left and right on my mixer go out to the two ins on the firewire interface and have each track record seperately??? Thanks for all the help so far!
