To be honest I've not diverted much time to it, it's increased from say 10-20 seconds to (sometimes) 20-30 so it's not a real drag. Unless of course the cabin crew are breathing down my neck to switch off the oh so dangerous electronic equipment when we're still at least 20 minutes from anywhere near a landing...

The increase is noticable and a niggle. 60+ seconds sounds more worrying but could be so many things - drivers, services (nVidia's nvsvs32.exe?), processes, registry settings (ClearPageFileAtShutdown?), etc. that conjecture isn't really going to solve.

Isn't that simply because it's not a manufacturer supported environment yet?
