Greetings and Happy New Year to all!
I am new to this arena and have a few questions. First, let me give you some background. My beautiful wife & I enjoy singing in various locations, mostly in church. We have a desire to expand this by putting on mini-concerts in various churches. We will need to purchase live equipment and the accessories that come with it. She is the lead (soprano) and when I'm not singing a solo, I accompany her as tenor or alto. I also enjoy singing bass on solo projects. I am also interested in creating a small home-based recording studio to record our projects, as well as record some voice-over work that I can get from time to time. What I'm looking for is what type of mics we might use for live, as well as studio work, what processors to get, especially for my bass and voice-over work, to get that "fat" quartet bass/radio sound.
