Hi Everyone!

So many people post here asking for recommendations of PC laptop models that will work well with audio hardware/software that a sticky thread seems like a very good idea.

However, please remember that a personal recommendation, however honest and heartfelt, doesn't guarantee that someone else will have the same positive experience, or that a different audio interface may have problems, so take care out there.

Please use this thread as far as possible to post details of a model that you have that you would like to recommend to others, and why, rather than posting loads of queries. It will help greatly if you include:

1. Make and model.

2. Processor type & speed.

3. Amount of RAM.

4. Drive(s) capacity.

5. Make and model of audio interface

6. Interface connection type (USB 1.1, USB 2.0, Firewire, PCMCIA, PCI Express)

7. Main software used.
