hmm, those are the guitarists (no, i don't have a problem with guitarists, honest) who complain they're getting an electric shock from my mics. cue mic-to-radiator and guitar-string-to-radiator voltmeter demonstration.

used to happen a bit with european plugged amps thru adapters where the earth didn't make a connection.

100 volts+ delivered to your lips can be painful and rather surprising.
