Been using the uad-1 card for about a year now and it I'm still discovering cool new uses for the various plugs. The compressors (1176LN and LA2A) are worth the price on their own! The nigel guitar suite is also brilliant - everything from heavy disortion to cool wahwahs to analog sounding delays. Another gem is the pultec eq (really sweet and musical). Can't reccommend it highly enough altho I'm sure the powercore has lots going for it as well. Tough decision!
