Yamaha O1V96V2

hi all
i'm a sound engineer who has always worked on analog consoles in live performance and i have a wide knowledge in most of the mixers available on the market , but i've never worked on a digital mixer except once i worked on O1V96V2 and i liked the experience ..i'm thinking of buying this mixer but i want further info and advise from experienced users in here ..i've downloaded the catalogue of the yamaha and it says it contains 8 bus / 8 aux / and can be expanded to over 24 channels ...i've done many searches to know how but the searches gave me nothing specific of what was looking for ..i understood that i can install a y-mini card to get extra out or ins ..but i have found no card that can provide extra analogue channel inputs (balanced XLR used for mics for example) as the say (expandable to more than 24 channels )and 8 Analogue outs to connect to 8 stage monitors for example at the same time or to provide 8 bus outs to connect to compressors or an 8-in hard disk recorder (recording each bus alone like percussion alone for example) ...my question is : how can i use O1V96V2 for a live performance on a small band which has 20 mics and needs 8 stage monitors each one has its individual AUX ?? can it be done ??? thank a lot for any help and sorry for this long post i had to be as much clear as it takes
